Fidelity Life welcomes industry veteran to board.

The Board of New Zealand’s largest locally owned life insurer, Fidelity Life, is delighted to announce the appointment of Scott Pickering as an Independent Director.

“Scott’s extensive experience in the insurance sector, combined with his impressive track record in governance, makes him a great addition to our board,” says Fidelity Life Interim Chair Lindsay Smartt. “His leadership and strategic insight will be invaluable as we begin deploying our new strategic plan, and chart a course for long term success.” 

Scott brings a wealth of governance and insurance experience to Fidelity Life.

His is currently on the boards of Kiwibank, IAG New Zealand, IAG Australia and Bowls New Zealand, is an Advisor to HealthNow and was previously on the board of Chubb in New Zealand and Australia.

Scott was Chief Executive of ACC New Zealand for more than eight years, where he led a major business transformation, and also held Regional CEO roles with Willis Towers Watson in South Africa and Dubai.
