Fidelity Life, New Zealand’s largest locally owned life insurer, has once again had its A- (Excellent) financial strength rating* affirmed by AM Best. This milestone marks 29 consecutive years since the company first achieved the rating in 1996.

The outlook for the rating is stable.

According to AM Best, the rating reflects Fidelity Life’s ‘very strong’ balance sheet.

Fidelity Life Chief Financial Officer Simon Pennington highlights the importance of this recognition.

“This A- rating from AM Best is a reassuring endorsement of our business's financial health and stability. As a life insurer, this independent assessment gives advisers confidence in partnering with us, and for customers, it ensures peace of mind in our ability to pay claims.

“It’s a strong foundation for us to keep growing for the good of New Zealand and supporting New Zealanders when they need us most.”
