Following its commitment to support drought-affected customers in Taranaki, Fidelity Life is now extending a helping hand to its customers in Northland, Waikato, King Country, Horizons (Manawatū-Whanganui) and Marlborough-Tasman who have also been impacted by the recent dry weather.
From today, Fidelity Life customers who are facing financial hardship as a direct result of the drought in these regions who are eligible can apply to have their premiums temporarily waived for up to 3-months, with the potential to extend for up to a further 3-months, without affecting their insurance protection.
Fidelity Life’s Chief Commercial Officer Bronwyn Kirwan says the company empathises with the challenges faced by these drought-hit communities.
“We recognise how tough it’s been for these regions as the dry weather continues and we want to show our support in a meaningful way. Our premium relief offer is a way we’re trying to help ease the burden and be there for our customers when they need us most.
“Our hope is that this support provides them with some reassurance that their insurance protection will remain in place while they navigate the challenges brought by the drought.”
To access the relief offer, Fidelity Life customers should contact their financial adviser or Fidelity Life on assistance@fidelitylife.co.nz.
