& Blood Cancer New Zealand
|We are proud to support Leukaemia & Blood Cancer New
Zealand (LBC), having raised over $300,000 for them over
the past three years. We've shaved our heads, ran Auckland's iconic sky tower, played hundreds of holes of golf and collected with buckets to help fundraise for charity.
The link between Fidelity Life and LBC
Blood cancers have a very real relevance in the insurance industry.
Cancer is the most common cause of death, trauma and critical care claims by
our policyholders, and second most common cause of income protection claims.
Our insurance products are designed to provide an instant lump sum or an
ongoing income, to help secure a better quality of life.
We all hope it doesn't happen to us. But the facts show that it does. Six New Zealand children and
adults are diagnosed with blood cancers each day - that's about 2,200 New Zealanders a year.
The cause of blood cancers is unknown and these diseases can strike anyone, without warning.
Treatment can go on for months or even years.
Fidelity Life staff see the devastating effects that illnesses, like cancer, have on our policyholder's lives.
That is why Fidelity Life staff get behind great charities like Leukaemia and Blood Cancer New Zealand.
How have Fidelity Life staff members helped?
